The harmonious Sebeka South Africa Cabernet-Pinotage used grapes from South Africas finest vineyard districts located across the Western Cape. The most attractive Cabernet and Pinotage grapes were carefully hand picked and gently de-stemmed. To elicit a bright taste and retain bold fruit flavors, the grapes were then crushed, pressed and fermented separately in upright stainless steel tanks. The juice was allowed three days of fermentation on skins at 28C to intensify color and flavor. After undergoing malolactic fermentation, the grape odor became richer, more vinous while achieving longer lingering notes, and a mellow, full-bodied, and buttery taste. The final wine is supported by good tannins and a velvety finish of toasted oak
